Visit To Periyar National Park, Thekkady

Had an amazing weekend in Thekkady, Kerala. Our first holiday. but it was quite amazing. It was the most peaceful I've felt in 7 months, and the first time I slept so well after so many sleepless nights. hope I have more of the same in the following times i spend in dis state!!!:)

These were some of the amazing snaps taken last weekend in Thekkadi National park, Periyar, Kerala.. have a close look at the snake bird.. quite amazing. pity there isnt any of tiger or elephant, cause we saw none.. hope 2 see them in other forests of the state.. so long..

So this is my first ever attempt at blogging.. of course i had thought of doing this a long time ago, but may be i wasn't quite ready then.. funny what change of state and being away from home does to a person!!! some feel lonely and become homesick, while others start enjoying life like they have never done before! i belong to the second category of course (though i'd rather say i'm enjoying but with a justifiable limit).. dats when the thought and urgency to start blogging, surfaced again!! well thinking of starting to blog is one thing, starting it in real is another thing.. while maintaining it regularly is completely another thing altogether.. so, let this be a blog where i get to share my new life in Cochin, Kerala, India.. A Bengali in God's Own Country!!!!!
